The last few months were very busy for us with the Vegas Voyagers. Sharon and I escorted our 150+ passenger group on the 16-night Hawaiian Island cruise and we held two of our regular meetings right before we departed.
And, if not to make things busier, we hosted four special performances while on the cruise with our good friends Tony Arias, Rebecca Spence and Joey Singer. Sharon and I need a vacation from our vacation, or at least a little calm period.
It always seems that in the aftermath of these busy times we get the chance to sit back, relax and reflect on our good fortune and the overwhelming success of the Vegas Voyagers. And the good fortune we have enjoyed is really a tribute to all the wonderful people we have met over the years.
There are far too many people to recognize by name, but we have enjoyed every encounter with all the various members of our “Club.”
And you seem to come from all walks of life, from all parts of the country (there aren’t too many of you born and raised in Las Vegas). We’ve met many a retired doctor, or lawyer or “captains of industry,” and so many retired Army, Navy, Marine Corp., Air Force and Coast Guard Veterans who are loyal Vegas Voyagers. Thank you for your service.
Adding entertainment to our cruises has been a real plus. And getting to meet WES WINTERS, the PHAT PAK, FOLK LEGACY TRIO and the incomparable TONY ARIAS has been a true highlight for our BUS TO THE BOAT program. Great entertainers all.
So it is in these quiet reflective moments that Sharon and I count our blessings for the true enjoyment of making memories for all our Vegas Voyager friends and for all the wonderful people we have met over the years.
