ShangHai Taste Introduces New Menu Items
ShangHai Taste is one of the city’s top authentic Chinese eateries, especially known for its handcrafted xiao long bao soup dumplings with its motto: “you order them, we stuff them, we steam then, and you eat them.” Both of its locations (one in Chinatown and one in the Southwest) are extremely popular, one reason surely being the price points of the menu, with most dishes priced between $10 and $20.
The Southwest location at 8060 S Rainbow Blvd #130 (the NE corner of Rainbow and Windmill) has introduced several new menu items to join its collection of handmade steamed dumplings.
New dishes recently rolled out that are offered exclusively at this location include Garlic Stem Shrimp with Vermicelli, Shanghai Style Beef and Green Onion Stir Fry, Mapo Tofu, Black Pepper Beef, Chili Pork, Shanghai Style Eggplant, Kung Pao Chicken, Shanghai String Beans and Shanghai Crystal Shrimp.
In addition, the Chocolate Xiao Long Bao has been redesigned. Nicknamed the Chocolate Lava Dumpling, it now features the chocolate lava-like filling encased inside a wrapper made with premium cocoa powder for a full on chocolate experience. The chocolate dessert is available at both the Southwest location and the original in Chinatown at Shanghai Plaza.
Both Las Vegas locations are open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more info visit instagram.com/shanghai_taste.
