In 2017, a profound urgency driven by a shared spiritual vision united twelve Indigenous elders from across the globe, prompting them to leave their villages for the first time to address the United Nations.
While setting aside their geographical, religious, and cultural differences, in complete unity, they conducted a one-of-a-kind ritual on an ancestral point of concentrated energy. They assembled in front of the United Nations building, recognizing that it sits on a powerful point, a symbol of our shared roots and connection to the Earth.
Gathered in a circle, holding hands, and drawing on ancient wisdom and rituals, they conducted a powerful healing ceremony, focusing on restoring our living, ailing planet and all life on it.
Their journey and the energy generated during their three-day assembly emphasized the critical need for change. Their urgent message was clear.
“We have overused nature’s resources, polluted the planet with trash, plastics, debris, chemicals, etc., destroyed the land, oceans, caused the extinction of thousands of plants, animals, etc., and we’re jeopardizing our survival.”
Drawing on ancient wisdom and rituals, the elders emphasized the framework for humanity’s future and the importance of our profound connection to nature and one another. They shared their messages converging on what must be done to alter our planet’s course.
Each one of the twelve masters carried an essential piece of understanding about our interconnectedness with nature and with one another. The twelve combined qualities laid out a new matrix and possibilities for a better future for humanity and the Earth.
They explained that the energy we emit comes back to us like a boomerang. Cause and effect serve as universal checks and balances. That the Earth is hurting and angry and not to be surprised by the uprising of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, storms, fires, floods, etc., and that unless we change our ways, it will only get worse.
The elders’ teachings provided vital guidance on how to live in harmony with the Earth and shared profound insights into the depths of our responsibilities and what it means to be human. Each specific quality aimed to elevate global consciousness and inspire meaningful changes in our lives.
