The Fall Guy

Universal Pictures has released the PG 13 action, violence, drug content, and strong language movie, “The Fall Guy.” This film is partially based from the 1980 Lee Majors TV series about a stuntman who made some extra cash on the side bounty hunting.

Ryan Gosling takes on the mantle of Colt Seavers. Emily Blunt, Gosling’s romantic interest, are both effortlessly witty with some excellent directing and stuntman coordinator by David Leitch and script writer Drew Pearce.

“The Fall Guy” lives up to its promise as a delightful blend of action, comedy, and romance. It makes the audience feel like a Hollywood insider for a couple of hours.

The film is a delight from start to finish, great comic chemistry between the two leads, and packed with wall-to-wall action.

The movie plays homage to the ‘80s TV show of the same name. “The Fall Guy” is one tiny step on the path to making audiences more aware of some of the behind-the-scenes people who really make movies better – and risk it all to do so.

I enjoyed this film, the acting was great, it kept you on the edge of your seat and I have decided to give “The Fall Guy” a 4 out of 5 movie rating. Hopefully 2024 will surprise us with more good movies.
