It’s kind of ironic that so many people (myself included) look forward to the warm days of summer, and then in an instant we tend to grow weary of the opposing heat and look forward to the cooler fall season.
Like many people who take trips with their kids during the summer months, we decided to switch things up this year and take a vacation in the month of August. Our destination took us to the British West Indies, to explore the amazing island and the culture of the kind people who live there.
For many of our amazing readers, I’m sure it’s nothing new to hear me writing about travel and fashion, two of my most enjoyable pastimes. This topic will be about the different styles of men’s attire that I observed during this trip.
Daytime is very typically filled with lots of shorts, and pullovers. However, all of that changes when evening occurs. The guys bring out their finest tropical shirts paired with cool linen or light cotton pants,
With temperatures soaring into the 90’s with humidity to match, I was surprised to see gentlemen with their seersucker jackets on over their button down shirts and long pants. Thinking how amazing that combination of clothing looked, I couldn’t help thinking, are these guys sweating underneath all of that?
I’m guessing that for folks who live with high temperatures and humidity, it’s nothing new; however, for myself and my husband we did our best to look cool and collected even while we were melting in the brutal weather.
We are truly spoiled living here in Nevada with little to no humidity. It makes us appreciate the joy of coming home.
