Summer Travel

Summer Travel

We just finished our most successful Bus to the Boat ever; our April 2026 10 DayBaja Mexico cruise with Tony Arias.  Two Hundred Vegas Voyagers sang, danced and partied their way around Mexico while we enjoyed three great group only exclusive Tony Arias and Keith Thompson’s Piano Party concerts.

As all savvy travelers know, summertime (read Memorial Day to Labor Day) when the kids are out of school and teachers are on vacation, is the busiest travel time of the year. And if you haven’t made your summer travel plans yet, then you are very late with hotel, tour or cruise reservations.

We are always monitoring booking trends and how busy travel to popular destinations are.  For example, Viking River Cruises on the popular Danube and Rhine Rivers are virtually sold out for 2026 summer travel date. Bermuda cruises out of New York on Royal Caribbean, the same.  All dates just about sold out.

My point: book summertime travel early!  In our Cooper family, Grandma, Grandpa, mom, dad and the grandkids, booked our DisneyWorld vacation for mid-August back in January.  And we were able to take advantage of an extended night and free Disney Dining package for the entire family.

And although we saved money, a six-night stay at the Wilderness Lodge with Park admissions and dining is still “pricy.” But we got the hotel and the dates we wanted by booking early.

However, if you still have ambitions in traveling over this summer, feel free to call us and we can help you find that elusive last-minute space you might be interested in.  We have some “back channel” avenues that can sometimes find vacation space you might not see on general consumer platforms.

And if you can wait until after the busy summer season, look at all the trips we have coming  up, including our Folk Legacy Trio cruise February 6tth, and our Tony Arias escorted 16-night Hawaiian Island cruise January 9th .
