WES WINTERS CELEBRATES FOUR YEARS OF PERFORMANCES IN THE SOUTH POINT HOTEL CASINO AND SPA GRANDVIEW LOUNGE ON SATURDAY, APRIL 25th.

On Saturday, April 25th, entertainer Wes Winters will celebrate four years of performing in the Grandview Lounge at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa, where he has presented approximately 400 shows to enthusiastic audiences.  The anniversary party begins at 5 p.m. with a meet and greet, and complimentary cake and champagne.  A performance by Winters will follow from 6 to 9 p.m.

Winters’ one-man lounge-style show is built around his acclaimed vocals, unique showmanship, award-winning piano pieces and a huge musical repertoire. Winters moves through his performances seamlessly, with the ability to accommodate countless requests woven throughout the show. A typical evening features anything and everything, from Jerry Lee Lewis to Michael Buble to Floyd Cramer, Bobby Darin, Barry Manilow, Liberace, Dean Martin, Fats Domino, Big Band, Country and Western, Broadway, Disco, Rock and Roll, doo-wop and much more.

The award-winning Wes Winters is a versatile entertainer who sets the stage at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa in the Grandview Lounge for an exciting evening of live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night from 6 to 9.  In addition to his ongoing weekend shows at the South Point, Winters performs at the Rampart Casino’s Addison’s Lounge in Summerlin (see
www.weswinters.com for show dates and times).

Wes Winters has performed professionally for 28 years.  In February 2003, he relocated to Las Vegas from his hometown of Kansas City.  After entering and winning the Liberace Play-A-Like Contest that same year, Wes conceived, wrote, produced and starred in A Musical Tribute to Liberace, and created the Wes Winters Showroom at the famed Liberace Museum.

Honored with numerous awards, A Musical Tribute to Liberace ran in the cabaret at the museum for nearly five years, providing income for the Liberace Foundation.  That was followed by a limited engagement on the Las Vegas Strip in the 500-seat theater at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Winters owns 88 Key Productions, a full service audio and video recording studio.  He has produced seven solo recordings: Las Vegas Saturday Night (’09), Piano Favorites (’05), and Wes Winters Live(’05). Send Down an Angel (’01) is comprised of music and lyrics which are all original works by Wes, reflecting events in his personal life. Other recordings include Wes Winters Christmas, Light the Lights and Curtain Up.

Winters busy schedule includes concert tour dates and private, corporate and convention performances, not only in Las Vegas but throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and South America.

To quote Dr. Steven Toy, Music Editor and Critic for Variety, “Wes Winters’ future is bright.  Go catch him on the ladder on the way up to stardom.”

From the first time saw Wes at a hotel in KC to the week before when Davy Jones of the Monkeys sat with me and commented how I really did know good musical acts. To when in Las Vegas when Mrs. Foy whose husband flew Liberace through the air cried and hugged me saying this young man you know he is just as talented as Lee. She took the microphone from Wes and told the crowd what she told me. Continued success well deserved
