One of the Nicest Ever!

One of the Nicest Ever!

Here I go again saying how nice someone is. But honestly, if I were to list 10 of the nicest people I’ve ever known, I can say this person would be right up there!

He’s Robert Fuller, and I’m sure you will remember him from not only many movie and TV shows, but for having been in three television series! Who can forget Laramie, Wagon Train and Emergency. All well-known TV shows from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

I actually first met him in the ‘50s  as he was a good friend of my brother Georgie. They both worked as stunt men, actors and extras in the film business. I also worked with him in an episode of Wagon Train called The Cassie Vance Story in 1963.

Robert was born in New York but his parents soon moved to Hollywood. He got the “acting bug” and decided to pursue his dream .

With his acting ability (and good looks), he soon found a starring role in his first film “Teenage Thunder.” Robert did many other TV shows such as Highway Patrol, The Big Valley, Death Valley Days, just to mention a few.

He then catapulted to stardom with the 3 year series “Emergency.” Now all these years later, Robert continues to have a huge Fan Base following him all over the world.

I recently met him at the Mid-South Nostalgia Fest in Mississippi and what a joy that was! He will be 92 this month and he’s still “Got It”!

There were at least 300 ladies standing in line to get his autograph. It was fun seeing and watching him take the time to sign autographs, pose for pictures and give the ladies a hug!

I also got to meet his lovely, beautiful and hilarious wife Jennifer Savidge who is also a joy. She can be remembered from the  TV series St. Elsewhere  where she played Nurse Lucy Papandrao.

One of the cutest, most loving couples I have ever seen. Lucky me to have been able to see Robert again after all these years .

Until next time.. remember it is our attitude toward life that brings us joy in living.
