Lester’s Deli Comes to Henderson
With more than 70 years of operation bringing deli classics, the celebrated Montreal institution Lester’s Deli has opened its first outpost outside of Canada at 1590 W Horizon Ridge in Henderson.
Unlike American barbecue, Montreal-style smoked meat is a signature Jewish deli specialty made from whole beef cured with a blend of spices, slow-smoked, steamed until tender and hand-sliced to order. To preserve the authentic taste, the smoked meats are imported from Montreal. Favorites include Le Maurice ($23) with smoked meat, Swiss cheese, creamy coleslaw and house Russian on marble rye; Avenue Bernard ($22) with smoked meat, smoked turkey, Swiss cheese and house maple mustard on marble rye; and Classic Poutine ($13) with house made fries, cheese curds and gravy. Items exclusive to the Las Vegas menu include the Le Boeuf with roast beef, roasted garlic & horseradish aioli, cheddar, pickled onions, dressed arugula and fried jalapenos on a pretzel bun.
Lester’s Deli is open Tuesday–Saturday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. For more info and to view the complete menu, visit lestersdeli.com/las-vegas.
