Magicians Room Offers Many Magic Acts

Visit the Magician’s Room in the Linq Promenade for close-up magic and mentalism.

The 200 seat venue offers a refreshing alternative to over-produced spectacles found elsewhere. No massive illusions here; only close-up artistry, storytelling, and interactive illusions.

We attended four shows in the compact, immersive showroom. A close-up street magician is often at the venue’s entrance.

The venue’s “All Magic All the Time” philosophy is anchored by four separate shows. The family-friendly Farrell Dillon Comedy Magic show at 4:30 PM includes sleight of hand magic and improvisational tricks that keep the attendees laughing.

British performers Matthew Pomeroy and Natasha Lamb (who have performed on London’s West End and theaters world-wide) are pleasing with their high energy and mentalistic presentation in the The Conjurors Secret Wonders show at 6:30 PM. A highlight: audience members select random numbers and the Conjurors somehow have amazingly recorded these numbers inside sealed envelopes!

David Goldrake brings a European flair at 8:30 PM interacting with audience members. His dramatic escape from a water tank is a highlight.

David is submerged in a transparent tank of water with hands chained together. An audience members verifies that the top of the tank is secured with real locks. Then, with the aid of bobby pin, he opens the locks and escapes from the tank in under two minutes.

Late Night Magic at 10:30 PM is not for children. Its mind blowing tricks are a weird bizarre magic variety show.

The language and audience interactions are best described as raw in nature. Bizzaro opens by swallowing and then tying several razor blades in his mouth. The Shocker:  AKA Greg Dow – performs some crazy card tricks and does his best to insult the audience.

Hollie England has attendees amazed with some escape and mentalism tricks. Emcee Doug Lefervich AKA “Lefty” performs card tricks and supplies a litany of f-bombs which keep the audience laughing.

The Haunted Brunch at 11:00 AM on select days offers cast members, dressed in weird costumes, performing strange, spooky and comedic comedy. Audience members can enjoy a flavorful brunch while sipping Bloody Mary or craft cocktails.

Discounts are available for those attending more than one show. Visit: https://the magiciansroom.com
