It’s The Most Wonderful Time

It’s The Most Wonderful Time

Here it is December 2023 and I’m starting celebration of my birthday month! Yes, this is my most favorite time of the year.

Most people are jolly and happy and festivities are throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Food and drink are everywhere at various functions.

I’m thrilled to be celebrating another “milestone” year on this earth! WOW! How did that happen?

I still enjoy teaching my Zumba and balance classes. My part-time ushering job at The Smith Center is still going strong and I intend to continue working there as long as I’m physically able. In between my busy schedule, I will be enjoying the holidays and spending time with friends.

Reminiscing of my years on the East Coast, I really enjoy this beautiful winter weather without that snow! I can always look at Mt. Charleston if I want to see that white stuff!

The holidays are notorious for putting on some extra pounds, so do yourself a favor. You can enjoy the holiday goodies but continue with your exercises or take up some new ones.

I’m determined not to put back the extra pounds I had gained these last few years. More walking outdoors and more cardio exercising will help.

Although I have a “sweet tooth” I will do my best to cut down on some sweets since chocolate is truly my downfall!

So as we wind down this year, be good to yourself and reflect upon what you want to check off your “bucket list” and go for it.

BE GRATEFUL – for whatever you have, not what you don’t have.
