Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Lesson: A Sun City resident calls his adult son in New York during the first week of November The father says to the son, “I hate to tell you, but we’ve got troubles in the house. Your mother and I can’t stand each other anymore, and we’re getting a divorce.

“I’ve had it! I want to live out the rest of my years in peace. I’m telling you now, so you and your sister and our grandchildren shouldn’t go into shock later when I move out.”

The son hangs up and immediately calls his sister in the Hamptons and tells her the news.

The sister says, “I’ll handle this.”

She calls her father and says, “Don’t do anything till we all get there! We’ll be there Wednesday night.” The father agrees.

The old man hangs up the phone and hollers to his wife, “Okay, they’re coming for Thanksgiving. Now, what are we going to tell them for Christmas?”

Thanksgiving Parrot: Since he was a boy, John always wanted a parrot. His family knowing this decided to surprise him on Thanksgiving day.

Unfortunately the parrot began mocking, insulting, and threatening John. He got John so angry that he placed the parrot in the freezer. After 3 minutes, John let the parrot out.

The parrot said, “I take it by your attitude and behavior I somehow offended you.” “Yes you did!” John responded.

The parrot was quiet for a moment but eventually asked, “Can I ask one more question?” John said, “What is it?” The parrot asked, “What did the turkey do?”

Grocery Store Mystery: A lady residing in Solera was looking for a turkey but couldn’t find one big enough. She asked the stock boy, “Do these turkeys get any bigger?” The stock boy replied, “No, they’re dead.”

And Finally: I may not be that funny or athletic or smart or talented…Wait… I forgot where I was going with this. Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
