Happy Camper Pizza at the Fashion Show mall can take you back to an earlier time in your life as well as an appreciation for enjoying time in the great outdoors. The restaurant and bar, a collaboration between Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants and the Chicago-based restaurant group Happy Hospitality, captures a feel of the outdoors, nostalgia and partying with friends, as it is decked out in disco balls, artificial turf, red neon lights, an actual vintage camper, retractable roof, heaters, hanging golden string lights, greenery, fire pits, cabanas, communal seating and  several TVs throughout.

The menu is broad and varied, but mainly comprised of comfort food favorites. The “Happytizers” section of the menu, meant for sharing, includes Queso Elotes Dip, G.O.A.T. Breadstix (goat cheese), Chicken Wings, Chicken Nachos and Whipped Feta (topped with honey & pistachios, served with pita & crostini).

The Not Pizza menu offers the Big Happy Burger, a double smash burger with American cheese, 1000 island, griddled onions, lettuce, dill pickle and fries; Baja Fish Tacos with chipotle crema, coleslaw, pico de gallo, queso fresco and chips & salsa; and the Crispy Chicken Tenders with BBQ honey mustard, chipotle aioli and fries.

The bulk of the offerings are the pizza menu that includes a dozen pizzas made on either Happy Camper’s signature dough made in-house daily, which is crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside; or tavern-style, which is extra thin, crispy and comes square cut. Varieties include several non-traditional pizzas like BBQ Chicken, Prosciutto & Spinach, Chicken Ranch, Mediterranean and Street Corn. A gluten-free crust option is also available.

The Struggle Bus Brunch, served Sat. and Sun. from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., offers a breakfast-style pizza called Tavern Breakfast ‘Za featuring bacon, cheddar and eggs; Chicken and Waffles with honey butter, hot sauce and maple syrup; Breakfast Burrito with shredded beef or chicken, fried egg, bacon, cheese, avocado, crispy potato and chips & salsa; Avocado Toast with avocado smash topped with goat cheese and sunny-side-up egg and arugula salad; and Bottomless Mimosas (two hour time limit).

Are you craving cookies? The Sweet Treats menu has you covered with Cookie Skillet topped with a scoop of ice cream & sprinkles; S’Mores Skillet with graham cracker, chocolate and marshmallow topped with a scoop of ice cream; and Cookie Dough Bite—eggless cookie dough rolled in Oreo crumbles & sprinkles.

The beverage menu has cleverly named concoctions like the Big Ass Lemonade (32 oz of pink lemonade and vodka) and Trailer Park Queen (prosecco, elderflower and lemon); and more than a dozen beers including the locally-made Able Baker Atomic Duck IPA, CraftHaus Silver State Blonde and Big Dog’s Tailwagger Wheat and Las Vegas Lager.

Happy Hour is offered Mon.-Thu. from 3-6 p.m. with $9 wines by the glass, $11 select cocktails, $6 select drafts, Hummus Plate for $7 and Jalapeno Homies (jalapeno poppers filled with cream cheese, bacon, cheddar, tomato and a side of BBQ sauce) for $6.

Happy Camper is open daily from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. for dine-in, carryout and delivery; and free parking is available in the mall’s parking garage below the restaurant. To view the Happy Camper menu, click here.
