As I write this Sharon and I are getting ready to depart on a European Rhine River in Europe. We will fly from New York to Zurich, Switzerland, spend two nights in Zurich and then board our River cruise vessel in Basel, Switzerland.
For seven nights we will cruise from Basel and end up in Amsterdam; along the way visiting ports in Germany, France and the Netherlands. This will truly be a very leisurely sail with beautiful views along the riverbank of the Rhine River. Highlights will include Strasbourg in France, Heidelberg and Cologne, Germany.
The cruise ship accommodates only 190 passengers. The on board ambiance is casual and low key with lectures on the various ports and evening chamber or quiet piano music. It includes a shore excursion in each port along the way as part of the cruise fare, so days will be filled with numerous port activities.
Our cruise will end in Amsterdam. We will then spend two nights there and tour the city. We plan to visit the Anne Frank House, take an Amsterdam canal cruise and visit one of the many world-famous Amsterdam museums.
All in all, this is a fun filled, immersive visit to many parts of Europe we have not been to before. And be sure to call us to book your cruise or with any questions you might have.
*There is still space available on our 16-night Tony Arias “Aloha” cruise. We have close to 150 “Voyagers” booked and there is still space available on the Princess Cruise Line’s Grand Princess.
This is going to be our best “theme” cruise yet with at least four full feature Tony Arias (and company) performances as well as other exclusive Vegas Voyager group only activities. Call me for full details.
