![]() By: Bob Gourley There is a lot of chillin’ going on in Boulder City and most of it is coming from Chilly Jilly’z. This fast casual place is a great spot to stop after a trip to Lake Mead. The food is fresh and delicious. The line-up of sandwiches should be a model for everyone. They not only make every slice of bread they serve, but the list of toppings are fresh and numerous. The Best Dam Panini ($8.99) is one example. House-roasted tri tip and melted provolone cheese are combined with cole slaw and BBQ sauce on ciabatta. Canyon Caprese is awash with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes topped with homemade pesto on focaccia. A couple of burgers will keep you stuffed for hours. The Single features a quarter pound of 100% Angus beef with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and dressing stuffed between a brioche bun. Crinkle fries are on the side. There is also a Double Double for twice the fun.
