Bottiglia Cucina & Enoteca Serving Weekend Brunch

Since its opening in 2016, Bottiglia (pronounced Bō tē yuh, Italian for bottle) Cucina & Enotica at Green Valley Ranch has been offering fine dining fare and beautiful decor. Situated near the south side parking lot, a bright, cheerful and airy ambience to mirror the Tuscan-style feel of Italy is accomplished with large plantation windows, an inviting outdoor patio and a room awash in white with tile columns and chairs with floral prints.

I had previously enjoyed the dinner offerings but had not experienced the weekend brunch until recently. While the restaurant is known for its Italian specialties, the brunch menu is quite varied, with something for nearly anyone’s tastes. Standout starters include avocado toast with basil pesto and acai granola bowl with acai sorbet, fresh berries and granola.

Traditional breakfast items feature upgrades like eggs Benedict in variations of lobster, prosciutto and California (set in roasted tomato with rotisserie chicken and avocado). The menu is rounded out by king crab bucatini pasta, veggie panini, cheeseburger, Chilean sea bass, filet mignon, oysters on the half shell, shellfish tower and chicken parm; and dessert finales such as chocolate coconut pudding with hazelnut shortbread cookies and one of the most unique desserts I’ve ever encountered, the Tirami “Shoe”—coffee-infused lady fingers, mascarpone crème and espresso ganache scooped inside a high heel shoe fashioned from edible chocolate, which you’ll want to take a picture of as it is certainly Instagram-able.

Served Sat.-Sun. from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. https://bottiglialv.com
