It’s the BEST way to start your day.
Think about it… when you wake up, you stretch. It’s an instinctual, natural, and involuntary action that engages your muscles and increases blood flow throughout the body.
You stretch your legs forward, your arms upward, and expand your chest. These actions bring relief to your entire body, and you think about a new day, a new adventure, and experience new feelings.
Ardent sensations can pop up in various ways, both mentally and physically. And, if you’re lucky enough to wake up next to someone you love (or lust) your mind races and you want to figure out how to share these exciting daybreak tingles.
According to Women’s Health Magazine, 51% of men said they like morning sex, and 20% percent of women agreed. Forty-five percent of these women said making whoopee at dawn brought a boost to their daily productivity. Men clock in at 53 percent.
The magazine shared “…on average, those women would even sacrifice 31 minutes of sleep for morning action, while men were willing to fork over 42 minutes.”
Love-making in the morning can boost your health because it increases your hormones. These raised hormone levels support an uplifted libido, especially in men.
It also reduces stress and certainly improves their mood. Morning nookie also enhances memory and cognitive function.
Seniors find morning sex an indulgence. Without the pressing responsibilities of taking care of young children or getting ready for work, all of a sudden, there’s time and energy for this hedonistic ritual.
An added advantage to a morning workout between the sheets is that sex burns approximately five calories per minute. Harvard Health Publishing found it’s the equivalent of a light workout or going for a relaxed walk.
Even if a senior couple wakes up later in the day, having sex first thing is still considered a qualifying morning rumpy-pumpy. You will nonetheless get all the pleasure, the boost of energy, and satisfaction.
The waking hour isn’t the point. Waking to a moment of enjoyment when making love is.
