I’m a huge fan of The Composers Room. Since it opened in 2023 in the heart of the Commercial Center District, it has built a solid reputation as one of the good guy places.
Quality entertainment, reasonable prices, an ample selection of music and shows appealing to our senior population, basic food options, and free parking. What more could you want? Answer: off-strip and easy accession to drive there.
What’s there and why am I so high on it? I’ll name a few reasons. Kelly Clinton Holmes Live – Songs, Sequins & Shenanigans on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. She is a true entertainer blending her singing talents with her comedic enthusiastic interactions with the audience and her multitude of guests
This home grown hilarious performer has done it all and continues to delight her many regular fans as she presents powerful guest acts as well.
Keith Thompson’s Piano Party every other Tuesday at 6 p.m. with the larger than life over the line singer/comedian Tony Arias brings music and uproarious laughter. Keith tickles the ivories, sings some great ditties, and backs off to let Tony put the audiences in stitches with his hilarious presentations.
Seasoned pros and rising stars want you to enjoy seeing and hearing them in this party atmosphere.
Julian Miranda’s Unplugged Vocal Jam every other Tuesday at 6 p.m. is another of those shows that is fresh and new every time. Julian brings an extensive background and incredible vocal talents to an intimate setting.
I marvel at his talent and celebrate the opportunity to enjoy him up close and personal. And of course he is joined by so many other talents. Ya never know who will be there to jam along.
