What would happen if we chose to pay attention only to those things in life that exemplify LIGHT and LOVE? Is that even a possibility?
We live in a country that claims to be based on Judeo-Christian ethics and even though there is a separation of church and state, we keep hearing about the importance of Christianity (seemingly forgetting the “Judeo” part). The sad part for me is that we keep hearing about our national need for Christianity (which I believe is only about LOVE), but I’m not witnessing it in actions.
I recently read a book called Signs: The Secret Language Of The Universe by Laura Lynn Jackson. Although she speaks of growing up Lutheran, she does not preach any religion.
She teaches that we are all connected to our departed loved ones who are trying to guide us in the ways of LIGHT & LOVE. They communicate to us through signs, but we don’t always receive them.
Why? She claims that we don’t receive the signs either because we are too distracted to see/hear them or because “practicality” preaches that these are not signs at all.
But they are! And all of us have the ability to see/hear these messages if we simply open up to them.
She goes further by advising us that we are all connected to a team of LIGHT & LOVE in the afterlife, by telling us that we are all truly connected to each other in this life. We are connected – if we choose to recognize it by LIGHT & LOVE.
So I ask again: What would happen to each of us if we chose to only pay attention to those things in life that exemplify LIGHT AND LOVE? Even if no one else in the world bought into this concept, can I help change my little corner of this world in a more positive way by buying into LIGHT & LOVE… and only LIGHT & LOVE?
I believe this is possible. I am going to do my best to follow LIGHT & LOVE.
