The Vegas Voice Promises to Blog
We’ll be blogging regularly. Well that’s not exactly what happened. But we promise that’s not going to occur again.
How do we know? That’s because we finally found the right person to “take charge” of our website and blogs.
For regular readers of The Vegas Voice and for anyone that has heard me open my mouth, there was never a question that yours truly is a “New Yawker.” And while New Yorkers have been called many things, no one has ever called us “laid back.”
There’s a reason it’s called a “New York Minute.”
In my now 10+ years as a Nevadan, I have been continuously amazed by the “lack of urgency” in doing business in this town. And notwithstanding our monthly newspaper and weekly radio show (The Vegas Voice Radio Hour – KLAV 1230am, every Tuesday from 11am-12 noon) we wanted a faster way to communicate with our readers/listeners – hence our blog.
Unfortunately our former webmeister; while a great guy could (or did) not move quickly enough for this New Yorker. Time for a new webmeister.
